What is Christmas about to you?  Take a moment to think about it.  The meaning of Christmas in different for everyone.  The Friends of Grace invites you to come and share what Christmas is about to you by creating or finding an ornament that represents what this holiday is about for you.  Join us at Christmas in the Park on November 27, 2010 between 9-12pm.  YOU are an important part of our community!  All are ages and abilities are welcome to participate!

GCC hosts it's annual Thanksgiving Dinner Dance from 5-9pm on Tuesday, November 23rd.  All are welcome to attend.  Large groups are encouraged to prepay to receive an early bird special rate and faster entry into the event.  Otherwise, entry will be $3 per person at the door.  Come and enjoy this holiday feast, talent show, and dance!  See you there!

5pm- 8 pm, Admission $3.00 dollars at the door.  Our theme is HOLLYWOOD. Enjoy community, music, and snacks! We will also be displaying our 4th annual Day of the Dead Altar.

September 16 through October 7 

We are currently looking for community artists of all ages and abilities to collaborate in the creation of 3 large-scale Unity Birds to be "flown" in downtown San Jose and "perched" in the Rotunda at City Hall in honor and celebration of the 3rd annual Disability Awareness Day.  Please contact us if you or someone you know would like to help sponsor this project and/or participate in the art making!  We are also looking for volunteers to accompany the Unity Birds in a precession to City Hall.
